Open Skills to browse packages visible to the workspace. A package contains a required SKILL.md and may include references, scripts, assets, and other supported text files. Northern Logic stores the package; your AI tool runs it.

Browse and use a skill

Search or filter the library, open a package, and read its instructions and references. Check any displayed version and its dependencies before using it.
  • Download gives you a ZIP to install in your chosen tool.
  • Duplicate makes a separate library package you can adapt with the appropriate editing permission.
  • Copy into a vault creates ordinary Markdown in a destination you can write to.
Vault copying is a Markdown import: non-Markdown package files are not synchronized as executable scripts or assets. Review the copy result and use the package ZIP when you need the full supported text package. A library package is not automatically synchronized. A vault copy diverges from the library, and later library changes do not update it. Installing a downloaded package into an agent tool is also a separate action.

Import or create a package

Workspace owners and admins can create, import, edit, tag, organize, and archive organization skills. Use the import action and paste a supported GitHub or skills.sh package URL. Import fetches that package once; it does not subscribe to repository updates or import every related package. If the instructions depend on another skill, import that dependency separately. Use Import → Import folder to bring in a local package folder containing SKILL.md. Review any unsupported or skipped files. For a new package, create it in Skills and open the editor. Use Add for a file, reference, folder, or text file from your computer. Edit SKILL.md, then save. Its YAML frontmatter should include a name and a useful description of what it does and when to use it.

Organize and distribute

Use Search skills, Filter by tag, and Sort skills to narrow the list. Selecting a tag exposes Download [tag] to download that tagged collection. Use tags and table sections to make the library easier to navigate. Archiving a package does not rewrite copies already downloaded or placed in vaults. Partner owners/admins can assign organization skills to sibling workspaces. Northern Logic’s shipped catalog packages are maintained by the product. Duplicate one into your own package to customize it; edits to the shipped catalog package can be replaced by the next catalog refresh. For Convert’s AI enhancement, place the desired Markdown instructions under the destination vault’s skills/ folder. That is a different use from installing a skill into your harness.
