Invited to an existing workspace? Follow Join your team. You do not need to create a separate paid workspace to accept an invitation.

Create an account and workspace

  1. Open Create account.
  2. Continue with Google or the email sign-up flow and complete any verification requested.
  3. Choose Solo or Teams, enter a workspace name, and review Checkout.
  4. Complete Checkout to open the first-run setup checklist. You can select Continue to Knowledge and return to the individual features later.
Solo and Teams start with a seven-day trial and collect a payment method. Review the amount and renewal terms displayed at Checkout. See billing for cancellation and plan changes. Signing in does not itself grant access to another organization’s knowledge. Your account can have memberships in multiple workspaces, with separate roles and personal vaults.

Accept an invitation

Open the invitation link and sign in with the email address that was invited. Accepting joins that workspace, gives you a personal vault, and normally gives you Viewer access to Company. Ask a vault admin for editing access where you need it. Invitations expire after 72 hours and can be accepted once. If the invitation is expired, already used, or tied to another email, ask the sender for a new invitation or sign in to the correct account. Do not create a paid workspace merely to accept someone else’s invitation.

Switch or create another workspace

The header shows the current workspace. When you have several memberships, use its dropdown to switch. Always check it before creating a page, changing access, or connecting a tool. Invited members can use Create workspace to start their own subscription if they do not already own a Solo or Teams account. Existing Solo or Teams owners manage, upgrade, or resume their account instead of starting a second subscription. Partners manage client workspaces through their Partner account.

Manage your account

Use your name or avatar at the bottom of the navigation to open the account menu. Manage account contains account settings; eligible owners and admins also see Billing. Use the sign-in recovery flow if you forget your password. If your workspace is paused, an owner can follow Resume subscription. Creating a replacement workspace is unnecessary.
