Open Audit trail to inspect the activity your role permits. Organization audit access is administrative; personal-vault audit access requires appropriate explicit access to that vault.

Find an event

Use Find events, Activity type, Actor, Channel, and Vault where available. The table shows an ID, time, activity, actor, and target. Select an event to open its details. Use page controls when you need earlier records; filters and sorting should not be mistaken for a complete export of all history. Use the page’s Activity tab when you want a document’s version history and comparison rather than organization-wide management events.

Interpret attribution

A change can identify a human and its source channel or connection. This helps distinguish browser work, desktop work, and edits from a paired endpoint. Disabling a person retains attribution instead of erasing their historical identity. Anyone-share reads are recorded as External viewer. Organization-share reads can identify the signed-in member. Ordinary in-app reading is not logged as a per-page audit event, so this is not a report of everyone who has read a page.

Personal knowledge and support

Workspace owners/admins do not automatically see personal-vault content or its audit details. Platform support can inspect connection and account health metadata without receiving implicit customer-content access or impersonating customers. Agent Profile and suggestion audit events record the change event, not the private profile payload. A vault ZIP export does not include audit records.

Control what leaves the workspace

Share links, exports, local replicas, remote AI clients, and source conversion are different ways information can leave the app. Review the scope for each. Local files are ordinary readable Markdown, and removing access does not remotely erase old copies. Cloud search requires server-readable content; this product does not offer end-to-end encryption of searchable knowledge. Read the product’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for the governing policies.
