# Limits

Plan allowances for people, groups, team vaults, and connections are described
in [Billing](/administration/billing). Partner accounts can have configured
limits that differ from default allowances.

## Copy and retention boundaries

Templates apply once to empty vaults. Library skills copied into vaults become
independent files. Neither operation subscribes the vault to later library
changes.

Current-content exports exclude history, deleted entries, conflicts, audit,
Follow-ups, profiles, and separate libraries. Deletion retains historical
information, but the current tree has no general Trash browser.

## Product boundaries

Northern Logic does not provide model hosting, an agent chat host, skill
execution, hosted maintenance schedules, general SaaS connector ingestion,
vector search, collaborative cursors, automatic Markdown merging, native mobile
apps, or arbitrary binary storage.

Source conversion supports its listed document and public-URL families. YouTube
requires captions; audio/video uploads are not supported. External media remains
externally hosted.

Local files remain on an unmanaged machine after access is revoked.
Cloud-searchable knowledge is not end-to-end encrypted. Public shares are
read-only views rather than custom-domain websites.

Limits describe supported behavior, not guaranteed performance or uptime. Check
the app's result and current release for a particular operation.
