# Personalization

> Set private workspace preferences and review proposed changes.

Open **Personalization → You** to describe how agents should work with you in
this workspace. Your Agent Profile is private to your membership; another
workspace has a separate profile.

## Set your preferences

1. Choose **When to clarify**: only on material decisions, whenever destinations
   compete, or let the agent choose the likely vault.
2. Add **Do not assume** entries, one per line.
3. Describe your **Working style** and **Response preferences**.
4. Select **Save**.

For example: “Show the source page for factual claims,” “Ask before changing an
approved procedure,” or “Use short paragraphs and put open questions at the
end.”

These are instructions supplied to your agent. They do not bypass the agent's
own rules, give it new vault permissions, or enforce a workflow in the app.

## Make the profile available to your tools

A connected tool gets the live orientation through `nlkb orient` for a local
replica or `orient` through remote MCP. Ask it to refresh orientation at the
start of a session. The profile is not written into your Markdown folders
automatically.

Readable Company Voice guidance remains authoritative for shared company output;
personal preferences do not override those company rules.

## Review Suggestions

Agents can propose changes for your review. Pending proposals appear below the
profile.

* **Accept** applies a preference proposal.
* **Reject** declines it.
* **Forget** removes the proposal from the pending review flow.

Knowledge and organization-rule proposals do not have an automatic
Accept-to-wiki action. Review them, write an approved knowledge page yourself,
and point [Company Voice](/collaboration/company-voice) at it where appropriate.

## Export

**Export YAML** displays a text representation of the current form for copying.
Save first if you want it to reflect the saved profile. This is separate from a
vault export; take care when sharing personal working preferences outside the
workspace.
