# Follow-ups

> Leave a focused continuation note or ask an authorized teammate to review a page.

Follow-ups keep attention on unfinished work. They reference knowledge pages and
carry a short cover sheet; they do not run agents, send scheduled reminders, or
replace the wiki.

## Park a page for yourself

1. Open a saved Knowledge page outside editing mode.
2. Select **Park**.
3. Write a note explaining what remains to be done and select **Park**.
4. Find it later in **Follow-ups → Parked**.
5. Use **Open first page** or **Copy resume prompt** to continue in your chosen
   tool. Select **Mark done** when finished.

A resume prompt does not start the tool automatically. Paste it into the tool
that should continue the work.

## Ask a teammate

Select **Send to…** on a page, choose a person, write a specific request, and
select **Send**. The recipient must already be allowed to read the referenced
page. If nobody is available, ask a vault admin to grant appropriate access
first.

The request appears in the recipient's **Waiting on me** and your **Sent** list.
The recipient can open the page, **Mark done**, or **Decline** with an optional
note. A sender can cancel an open request when that action is available.

Sending a follow-up does not grant vault access. It is distinct from a share
link.

## Promote useful work into knowledge

An eligible recipient can select **Promote** on a parked or waiting request,
choose a writable vault and a SCHEMA folder, review the generated Markdown and
filename, and save. Promotion creates an ordinary knowledge file and then closes
the request. It needs a suitable wiki structure and write access.

If file creation succeeds but closing the request fails, inspect the destination
before retrying so you do not create duplicates.

## Retention and visibility

The detail shows an expiration time. Follow-ups are separate records: they are
not included in ordinary knowledge search, local sync, or vault ZIP exports.
File important conclusions into Knowledge before relying on them as durable
reference material. Current permissions still govern linked pages.
